I'm Katherine LaBeau, but to most people I go by Kat. I am newly located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I am willing to travel anywhere and everywhere! I am always open to new and exciting challenges. I specialize in all types of photography: weddings, engagements, senior pictures, family photographs, and more! My philosophy when it comes to taking pictures is very relaxed. Clients and I like to have fun together and I strive to capture those unique moments. If you see a picture that you like or have your own ideas, I would love to hear them! My goal is to make you look absolutely phenomenal, whatever the occasion, and deliver to you the best quality images. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Senior Pictures
Senior pictures are a great experience because the photographs visualize the transition from child to adulthood and is completely different from person to person. This can be a life-changing time for the family and teenager alike. Mom and Dad realize their son or daughter is growing up in front of their eyes and the teenager is starting to exist as his or her own independent person. Let's get creative together and take some pictures that tell the world to start looking for you!

Engagements
Engagement pictures are a great way to say to your friends and family, "Look how attractive we are together!" These photographs are great for Save the Date announcements or to include in wedding invitations. Pictures can range from posed and proper, to candid and casual, but most importantly are a reflection of you as a couple.

Weddings
The most effective wedding photography is one which blends a predominately photo-journalistic approach with a little bit of tradition. My approach is to catch moments as they happen, along with little details of day that may have gone overlooked. In addition, I photograph the traditional wedding portrait pictures. I deliver this unique combination of candid and portrait style photographs to all of my clients as a way to exceed the expectations of both the couple and family members. Most importantly, this day is completely about you! You choose where you want your memories to happen and I will be there to capture it-whether that be the park, bar, fire station, apple orchard- the options are limitless.
