Kristin & TJ

When discussing photograph ideas with potential clients, I always remind them to have a backup plan in case of inclement weather because sometimes luck is just not on your side. In other cases, like with Kristin and TJ, when all you can do is hope for a miracle, sometimes that is exactly what happens.
They had planned an outdoor wedding ceremony underneath a tent and the bride was going to exit her parents' house and walk down the aisle. That day, the skies were looking gray and it had begun to sprinkle while taking pre-wedding photographs. By the time the ceremony started, it was pouring down rain and the bridal party was walking from house to tent underneath umbrellas. Kristin appeared at the door of the house and was about to take her umbrella when all of a sudden the rain stopped. She walked out on her father's arm and right as she entered the tent the rain resumed with a downpour. There was even some thunder and lightening which prompted a few jokes from the pastor alluding to the success of their married life.
